Singapore. She is a fine country.

A short break from work while at Singapore.

The beach front.

Even the sand here is imported... or so it is said.
It was raining hard when we got there. The sun was setting and this kid was enjoying the weather.

So was I.Thanks to Nibedita, my niece.
Next evening it rained again....So it seemed we were destined to do whatever possible sight-seeing only from the bus.

The rain Gods duly obliged, allowing us to explore the Buddha temple premises and Chinatown.

The grey old owl sat on an oak.
The more he sat, the less he spoke.
The less he spoke, the more he heard.
Why ain't we like the wise old bird?
