Woh Kaun Thi?

In April, I saw this exotic little bird perched on the tree outside my balcony.

Gajji had supplied me with the name- Brahminy Mynah. 

He even looks like the common thief that he is. 

You would'nt suspect anyone in such colored robes, would you.

Cut to present...
Yesterday, an unidentified Mother bird  was enjoying the hot & humid season by the Balcony and keeping a watchful eye on Cleo the cat.

I picked up my Camera. The Mother bird went and hid discreetly behind some leaves.
Then,  Junior made his entrance to the scene.
Mother bird discouraged him vociferously.
But, the little showman was not to be dissuaded from his maiden Photo-op.
Come to think of it, I don't even know if it was a showman or showgirl.


I tried to find out which family the little feller belonged to, but came a cropper.
Gajji is not available on the mail or on the phone.


So, here I am posting the photos, hoping that someone will supply the name...
