You need oodles of courage to take your car to Purani Dilli.
I lacked oodles of courage, but was equipped with oodles of wisdom to take the Metro to Chawri Bazaar. God Bless Sreedharan.
For reasons known best to DMRC, Chawri Bazaar Metro station is close to Chandni Chowk and the Chandni Chowk metro station is close to Old Delhi Railway station.
Jama Masjid is a short rickshaw ride away from Chawri Bazaar Met.

The Majestic Masjid beckoned us, but the call from across the road from a smaller Masjid was much stronger.
Karim's outdid themselves by serving some great Mutton stew, Qorma and Naan.
So much food, just one stomach- i grumbled.
The high preists of Karims even allowed themselves to be photographed.

The Meena Bazaar at the east entrance of the Masjid has lost none of its charm.
No Mall can capture the earthy flavour of the market.
