I knew Goa like the back of my hand., or so it seemed.
But, I knew it only from the wonderful renderings of Mario Miranda.
(Mario sketched the land and its people with tender love, care and the occasional pinch on the bottom).
Believe it or not, it was the first time I set foot and sight on this amazing place God made.
Every person, every tree, every coconut seemed to have stepped straight out of Mario's cartoons.
Warm, friendly and beautiful- the people of Goa lend life to Mario's cartoons... and, to my candid portraits published here....
