This is going to be one helluva technical posting.
Rode a bike recently and I am going you the low-down on the low-saddled beast.
Overall specifications: Iron 883 with a 1200 cc engine. Red and Black. "Asha Parekh" rear tyre. "Alain Delon moustache" handlebar.
Idling: as stable as Jack Nicholson in "one flew over the cuckoo's nest".
Off idle: blipped throttle causes neighbour's envy. Neighbour's dog barks if throttle blipped at dawn.
Seat: The same saddle Clint Eastwood used in " The Good, the Bad and the Ugly"
Suspension : Nice and firm on the Gurgaon- Faridabad road. tightly hugging the curves, leaning into the bends when blipping the throttle.
Suspension on the rougher section : borrowed from the same horse Clint rode in "TG,TB & TU". vigorously massages the ball-n-socket joints God provided you with.
Engine Power and Torque: sufficient to make you grin like an idiot on the aforesaid Faridabad road.
Summary- Meditation lowers pulse and delivers moksha. Motorcycle is the only inanimate object which elevates pulse and delivers moksha.
So what does it look like?

I rode a Yezdi 250 cc for seven years before promoting myself and getting myself a Bullet (350 cc).
That was way back in the seventies and early eighties.
Today I drive a Reva Electric car.
