Wat Pratum Wanaram

or Wat Pathum Wanaram... as Google calls it.

In my last posting, I said I could not recall the name of the temple.

I also said that I could not find my sketch pad.

An intense, gruelling, sweat-of-the brow search of the house located the sketch pad - 2.5 cms on the RHS of the keyboard I am typing on.

The thumbnail in the sketchbook had the name of the temple.

There it is.

After getting my fill of the peace, I decided to do some walking on the streets on Bangkok.
Nothing like a stroll in a busy street to jolt you back to reality.

Nothing like a chilled tender coconut to warm the cockles of your heart

This vendor of streets ( forgive me, RK Narayan) sat patiently-knowing fully well- that sooner or later, the shoppers would get thirsty.

To cut a long story short- the sketch pad was not lost- still i found it.

They are also in my laptop, mobile and two back hard disks (one in the office and one at home) not to mention that all out corporate servers are mirrored some where!!! Lord only knows!!!!
