We had a thunderstorm last week, followed by some welcome rain...
Four Jungle Babblers decided to take refuge in our balcony....
Cleo, the cat, likes to go to the balcony and sit staring at the birds for hours together..
The birds recognize her as a potential threat and flock around her creating lots of noise....which entices me to fetch up my camera and shoot... here is the curious grumpy-face...
....and here is a guy whose face was familiar, but we had not been formally introduced earlier... ( Gajji supplied the name--- Brahminy Mynah...exotic little fella, hey?)

What a sequence! Here we have only the black common mynahs and grey babblers - not the colourful stuff that you guys have!
