Old Volcanoes never die...

Mt. Fuji of Japan has been an object of reverence not only to the people of Japan, but also to quite a few gai-jins.

The near- symmetric cone has come to symbolize all that is considered perfect in this little world.

Well, not quite...

Old Volcanoes never die when they run out of Lava... they just give off hot air.

  2. It's the power of Nature to render everything irrelevant that treats it with irreverence.A little awe and a mote of respect is in order for all things Natural at this time than at any other.

  3. Pandasan.....it is amazing how you think to do the right thing everywhere you go. Most of us, at 35000 feet are looking at other more important things than out the window!!!LOL

    Good pic though!!!
