FarukhNagar- calls again

Subedar Faujdar Khan, gallant warrior of the Mughal Sultanate, never would have imagined such a colorful history would grace the hamlet founded by him, about 450 years ago.

That the tiny Masjid he said his prayers at, would be converted to a Gurudwara and subsequently, become the Sitaram Mandir, in Independent India.

and, that, a Bullet rider, with nothing better to do in his Christmas break, would visit to sketch and shoot the hamlet. which was already reeling under the twin pressures of old age and neglect.

  5. Wow!

I am so glad I visited this blog. I am getting more and more amazed, the more I am exploring through the posts of the blog. And sketches are just perfect, for the story they are telling.

As I have crossed that Farukhnagar's gate numerous times, I found these sketches more interesting.

Thank you for sharing your artwork, sir.

    :)
