Bu Halima...whos that?

Situated in the Humayun' tomb complex, is another tomb of someone called Bu Halima.

Don't know who she was, but the gate leading to her abode is picturesque.

Maybe she was to Humayun, what Aunt Polly was to Tom Sawyer.

    Bu Halima's Garden and Tomb

Bu Halima's garden and tomb is located 100 meters west of Humayun's Tomb. The exact identity of Bu Halima is not known, but it is said that she was part of Babur's entourage to India and occupied an important place in his harem. Probably a Mughal noble woman, she was also a wet nurse of Humayun.
