Hola Ellora!

The faithful from three religions, in different centuries, decided to dig into the recalcitrant rock about 30 Kms from present day Aurangabad.

It took some of them up to 10 generations to chisel through the volcanic rocks, and create works of art which makes the world gape and gasp.

I got just 30 mins for this introductory tour of Ellora.

After the first few gapes and gasps, I respectfully put away my Camera- but not before taking a few pics- just to remind me to go back there for a sketching session....
