Athpula revisited

It is difficult to fathom that Delhi had tributaries of the Yamuna running through it- once upon a time.

The Athpula was built during Akbar's reign and is part of the Lodi Garden complex.

It must have been a beautiful sight then...., and,  is no less grand today !

And, this is the view of Lodi's tomb from ground level.
