The Ranthambore Fort

It was supposed to be an insurmountable fort.

Not so much from the location and the strategic placement of gates.

But, more from the fierce reputation of the rulers of Ranthambore.

They fought like Tigers.

and, that is perhaps why there are about 48 tigers in Ranthambore.

( not counting 2 of them that migrated to another forest about 250 kms from here,- as explained by Dharmendra Khandal - and the 3 that were relocated to Sariska)
