Midgets could have raided this fort with kitchen knives, if they had been sufficiently motivated.
Which led me to conclude that some King made it on a whim and a fancy.
But, there is nothing whimsical about the Jalkhantenswar temple dedicated to Lord Shiva.
We reached in time for the Sandhya Aarti.
Just the right setting for pulling out the Moleskine and rapidly scribble a sketch.
Even, the Nandi looked benevolent that day.

The temple has magnificient carvings. The devotees come to offer prayers and prasadam.
The monkey waits to waylay them, and snatch pieces of coconuts.
Even, the Nandi looked benevolent that day.
