OSTHOMI

The tune mesmerizes.

You find yourself swaying to the beat...even when you try to keep the camera still in the dimly lit Pandal.

The incense smoke adds to the atmosphere... and cuts out more light than your lens can handle.

But, on this Sandhya of Osthomi I was not going to be denied.

The morning Puja too saw a spirited turnout of the faithfuls....

....Seeking blessings.

 The volunteers and the Pujari passed them around in form of flowers and sprinkled water.

Rounded off the evening with some choice Kolkatta rolls, Biryani and Maangso Kosha.

What a day!
