This is Nubra.
Supposedly, the green valley of Ladakh. Intrepid travelers of yesteryear brought their pack animals along the Silk Route.
These pack animals were hardy, sturdy and could survive well in high altitudes, and go by the interesting name of Bactrian camels.
Nowadays, these adventurers from history perform the mundane job of giving the tourists a ride amongst the High Altitude Sand dunes of Nubra.
But... who's complaining?...
