Frankfurt is a financial and business center of Germany. So, my initial reactions when transiting through this airport would be- "okay! so we have a few hours to kill. Let's see what the airport lounge has to offer."
...... while the local violinist added atmosphere to the scenery by playing some intricate pieces which I could not figure out in-spite of the fact that three quarters of a large glass of the choicest Weissen was already sloshing around merrily in my suburbs...
The owner of the cafeteria recommended choice sausages that took some time coming.
So, aided by failing eyesight owing to aforementioned beer, I undertook to sketch this lady holding the scales.
She seems to be doling out justice by the dollops, and I decided to do similar justice to the Wursts that arrived in a large sizzling plate.
The walk around proved equally productive as the place was positively teeming with places to sketch... but the jetlag was catching up....
Clouds threatened to open up ( they even spattered a salvo across my umbrella as a proverbial warning cannon across one's bows).

Overwhelmed by the solid and liquid fortifiers, we decided to create some space for a cheesecake by taking a long walk along the river, across the bridge and back...

Alas, It was only then I realized that I had plain forgotten about that absolutely yummy cheesecake Romer had to offer.....
Moral of the story: Memory is short, Eat Cheesecake first.
