As usual, Bhubaneswar's temples continue to surprise.
It dipped in the "kund" near the temple and decided to perch himself atop one of the temples in the compount to dry his wings.
It appeared as if he was there to pray to the God who resided in the main temple.
The parakeet and the pigeon look at each other as if to ask " is that why they are called Cor-mo (nk) -rants?
Mukteswar is a 10th Century temple with elements of Buddhist architecture.
The carvngs are intricate and the have stories within stories ( some other post to narrate those)
